Brian Buresh

I grew up the son of a custom home builder and during that time learned how to perform a lot of construction work, but more importantly learned how to take care of customers. In the early years after college, I went into the corporate recruiting world. But it wasn't long before I ended up back in the contracting world.

22 years ago I started my exterior home improvement business Buresh Home Solutions, Inc.

Since then all of my efforts have been focused on serving homeowners and exceeding their expectations and learning how to differentiate our business from the all other competitors out there.

I know this because I’ve lived it. For years, I was a contractor who owned a business. The business couldn't succeed without me. My transformation happened when I became a business owner who happened to be in the contracting industry. I learned to properly lead, delegate, and trust my team. I stopped being the hero who had to solve every problem.

My transformation happened 5 years ago when I decided to become a business owner who’s business worked without me. I learned to properly lead, delegate, and trust my team. I stopped being the hero who had to solve every problem. My effort was now focused on building a business by working on the business not the day to day operations.

Now I have more time with my wife and son, more weekends on the boat, and the freedom to enjoy the fruits of my labor. In fact I went from 45 days of vacation in the previous 17 years, to being able to take time whenever I want -with no real consequences to the business. In fact, my business actually grew exponentially ever since the mindset change that brought about the Modern Contractor philosophy.
